Men’s Awareness Network Advocating Life, Increasing Vitality and Empowerment
We’re Here for Men—All Ages, All Walks of Life
MAN ALIVE
Introducing the MAN ALIVE Program
At the Aurora African American Health Coalition, we understand that every man faces challenges—whether they’re rooted in mental health, physical well-being, or navigating life’s pressures. That’s why we’ve created MAN ALIVE: the Men’s Awareness Network Advocating Life, Increasing Vitality and Empowerment.
This isn’t just a program. It’s a movement—a commitment to helping men lead stronger, healthier, and more empowered lives.
What We Do
MAN ALIVE takes a comprehensive, culturally relevant approach to improving men’s mental health and preventing suicide—especially for men over 50, but with support open to men of all ages. Here’s how we make a difference:
🔹 Mental Health Resources
We provide easy access to tools and services—from self-assessments to crisis support—connecting men with the professional help they need, when they need it.

🔹 Workshops & Peer Support
Our health education workshops and peer-led support groups focus on mental wellness, chronic disease management, and building a brotherhood of support and understanding.

Why It Matters
Men are often expected to “tough it out” or keep things to themselves—but no one should suffer in silence. MAN ALIVE is here to break the silence, reduce stigma, and build a stronger community—together.
Whether you’re facing something difficult, know someone who is, or want to be part of the solution, we’re here for you.
