The AAAHC Wellness Blog is managed by Dr. Markisha J. Woodson, a member of the Aurora African American Health Coalition. Dr. Woodson's PhD is in community health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also has a MBA in healthcare administration from Lewis University. She has a minor in health communication and has a special interest in addressing health disparities that impact the Black community.
